Resurrection Service and Meal
Forget about the Easter Bunny and painted eggs. This year, plan on celebrating the resurrection of Yeshua the Messianic Jewish way. Join your brothers and sisters at Beth Immanuel Saturday night, April 15. Everyone is welcome to attend our resurrection service.
At Beth Immanuel, we will observe the resurrection of our Master and his triumph over Sheol with a solemn and inspiring candlelight service on Saturday, April 15 at 9:00 PM. For our annual Saturday-evening resurrection service, we augment the usual Saturday night prayer service (ma'ariv) with readings from the Gospels, extra psalms, hymns, and an awesome candlelight procession around the bimah. The evening service includes a teaching about the resurrection, and after the service, we enjoy a festive, late-night (malaveh malkah) resurrection banquet to mark the occassion. Lots of singing, joy, and great food.
Everyone is welcome to attend the 9:00 PM service, but the Resurrection Banquet after the service is a ticketed event: $15.00 per adult, $45.00 max for family, kids 12 and under are free. To save your spot at the table, you must contact us and RSVP by April 5.
Invite your friends for a resurrection celebration they will not soon forget.
