Purim Party and Megillah Reading
Mark your calendar and invite your enemies for a costume party and a crazy night of Purim fun at the Beth Immanuel Wednesday, March 20. The night begins with Ma'ariv prayers and the reading of the whole Megillah (Scroll of Esther) in Hebrew. We close the evening with food, cookies, and Purim music from Troy Mitchell and the All Star Sandal Band and other shenanigans.
• Costume Party
• Mincha-Ma’ariv (6:15pm)
• The Whole Megillah (7:00pm)
• Fun, Food, Cookies, Treats, and Children's Purim Puppet Show (8:00pm)
Just when you thought it was all over, the ruckus begins again Thursday morning with a 7am Shacharit service including the reading of the whole Megillah (Scroll of Esther) in Hebrew. You'll need lots of groggers and noise-makers.
