Sukkah City 2018
You shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns. For seven days you shall keep the festival to the LORD your God at the place that the LORD will choose, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful. (Deuteronopmy 16:14-15)
We are opening our parking lot up for Sukkah City again this Sukkot, Sept 23-Oct 2 2018 and you are invited. Last year we had about a doxen sukkahs, and this year, we anticipate a lot more. We want to squeeze in as many Sukkah’s as we can and set a new Hudson record. Come join the fun. Put up your Sukkah and become a temporary resident of beautiful, historic Hudson, WI. We’ll have synagogue services every day and a party every night of the festival, lots of fun including a Sukkah contest, a Youth and Young Adults Pizza in the Hut night, a Torah Club Sukkah, lots of lulav waving, and on Hoshana Rabbah, we’ll have a cook out, a carnival, and a drum jam. Then things will get amped up for Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah.
Even if you can't put up a Sukkah, make sure to visit Sukkah City this year. We need guests to come in and be seated under the shade of the Almighty.
